NFNC members will receive an email with details of upcoming opportunities and instructions to register. Non-members, please email niagarafallsnatureclub@gmail to RSVP.
Walk opportunities will also be posted on the Niagara Falls Nature Club Facebook page.
All participants must complete a Liability Waiver before each walk/activity.
Member waivers are good for the year, while guests must complete a waiver for each event separately.

MORGANS POINT

From Hwy 3 in Port Colborne go west to Wainfleet, take Golf Course Rd. south to Lakeshore Rd., then Lakeshore west to Morgan’s Point Rd., then go south to the park.
We will be looking for shorebirds and late fall migrants on our walk while we explore old growth forest, prairie remnants and a sand dune complex on the Lake Erie shoreline.

GRIMSBY WETLANDS

The wetlands extend over multiple properties – 20 acres belong to the Region of Niagara, and 9 acres belongs to the Department of National Defence. There is an easy trail and an observation tower to spot marsh wildlife.

“The Wilderness,” a historic nearly five-acre plot of first-growth Carolinian forest at 407 King St. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, holds rich Indigenous and Settler history along the banks of One Mile Creek.
